Admissions - How to Apply

Who Should Apply

 

While most participants are enrolled in college, the programs are also open to those in graduate programs or not currently in school, including sabbatical teachers, gap year students, and others looking for the skills and experience offered by Living Routes programs.

 

Application Process

 

1. Obtain a Living Routes application. Either:

 

2. Follow the directions on the application form. Different materials are required for Semester and Summer/January programs and the Extended Summer/Semester programs.

 

Semester/Extened Summer Programs:

  • Application
  • $50 application fee
  • Short biographical essay
  • Unofficial transcript (can be requested and sent directly to us by your school)
  • 2 letters of reference (can be requested and sent directly to us)
  • Study Abroad Advisor Form

January/Summer programs:

  • Application
  • $25 application fee
  • One letter of reference
  • Study Abroad Advisor Form

 

 

3.  Interviews will be scheduled via Skype, phone, or in person once we have received your application materials.

Deadlines

 

Programs often fill before the deadline; therefore, students are encouraged to apply early for the best chance of joining the program of their choice.
